Try "The Gentle Charlies" and see how it opens up your breathing...
(Do in standing or sitting, as you please)

- Hands up, arms to the side
- Tiny lean to the right as you exhale slowly (smaller than what you see in the video)
- Exhale longer than you think you should.
- Repeat 3 times. do other side if you want.
Walk a few steps and notice if you have any different sensations.
If you felt even a 1% shift in your breath, your body is responsive — and that’s a big deal.
If that felt even slightly different…
most people are surprised by that.
Because it doesn’t feel like stretching.
It doesn’t feel like effort.
What you just felt wasn’t your body “loosening.”
It was your body letting go of protection.
Most tightness isn’t a flexibility problem.
It’s your body trying to stabilize
because something feels off or uncertain.
And here’s the part almost nobody explains:
Even when something helps…
your body often goes right back.
Not because you did it wrong.
But because the protection pattern hasn’t changed yet.
If you’ve been stuck in that loop —
where things help, but don’t last —
there’s a reason for it.
I’m breaking this down step-by-step in a live workshop.
You’ll see:
- why your body creates these patterns
- why relief doesn’t stick
- and how to actually change the signal more consistently
There’s nothing you need to force here.
But if your body responded…
that’s worth understanding.
