Your Hidden Effort Experience
Hidden Effort

Before you try to change anything, notice what's already happening.

This short experience is designed to help you recognize how much effort your body may be using during an ordinary moment.

Don't try to relax. Don't correct yourself. Just follow along.

Here's the Experience...

What did you notice?

Maybe you noticed your jaw, shoulders, hands, belly, breathing or some other part of your body doing more than you expected.

Maybe the difference was very small.

Maybe you didn't notice much yet.

None of those responses means you did it wrong.

How much did that moment actually require?

That's the question I want you to begin carrying into ordinary life.

While you're typing. Driving. Standing. Exercising. Concentrating. Talking with someone.

Not so you can constantly monitor or fix yourself.

Just so you begin recognizing the difference between the effort a moment requires and the extra effort your body may be adding.

This is what I mean by Hidden Effort.

Hidden Effort is the extra work your body does that the moment doesn't require.

The goal isn't to remove all effort.

Your body needs effort to move, work, think, exercise and live.

We're simply becoming more curious about when the amount of effort being used is greater than what the moment actually needs.

I'll help you take this a little further.

Over the next few days, I'll send you a few short emails that help explain why this matters.

We'll look at why relief can feel good and still wear off, why your body may sometimes be doing too much rather than simply needing more, and how unnecessary effort can quietly consume capacity.

I'll also invite you to a free 40-minute live workshop where we can explore this together in more depth.

For now, don't turn this into another thing you need to get right.

Just notice when the question comes back: “How much does this actually require?”
