A gentle, rhythmic pattern that opens your hips, calms your diaphragm, and melts tension in your low back so you can finally breathe… and move… again.
Back pain often isn’t “injury.”
It’s your nervous system bracing… holding… guarding.
Your body is trying to protect you.
The Wave helps it stand down.
This isn’t stretching.
This isn’t strengthening.
This is rhythmic signaling—what your brain responds to quickest.
Three zones create 80% of protective bracing patterns:
• Hips that lock up under stress
• A diaphragm that’s stuck in ‘fight mode’
• Intercostals and side ribs that can’t expand
The Wave addresses all three—gently—through one simple rhythm.
Rhythm lowers bracing.
Rhythm resets breathing.
Rhythm restores low-back mobility faster than force.
*Exhale longer than you feel you should.
Do for 30 seconds to 2min. Do a couple times per day.
1. Get into a horse stance.
Feet wide, knees soft, hips relaxed. No tension anywhere.
2. Start a slow side-to-side rock.
Shift your weight from right to left.
Lift the toes on the opposite side you move toward. Let it feel easy.
3. Turn your hands out.
Elbows close to your sides.
Allow your chest to stay soft.
4. Relax your shoulders.
Let the rhythm lead your body, not the other way around.
When the shoulders begin to sway gently, the lumbar and pelvis naturally dissociate and unwind.
The end result:
-Your hips open.
-Your ribs expand.
-Your diaphragm softens.
-Your low back stops gripping.
That’s The Wave.
That's step #1. Get step 2 below.
Your body might surprise you:
• More freedom around the low back
• Breathing that suddenly drops down lower
• A warm, melting sensation around the hips or groin
• A calmer mind, like someone lowered the internal volume
• A sense of “my back isn’t gripping so hard anymore”
If you feel any of this, that means your nervous system is responding.
The Wave is Move #1 of a 3-part reset sequence that releases deeper layers of protective bracing.

“Is this safe if my back is really bad?”
Yes. The Wave doesn’t force your spine. It teaches your nervous system to stop guarding.
“How often should I do it?”
30–60 seconds, 1–2 times per day. More if you want—your body will tell you when it’s enough.
“Why does rhythm work better than stretching?”
Stretching pulls. Rhythm communicates. Your nervous system responds to signals, not force.
“What happens in Move #2?”
You’ll reset one of the primary signal zones responsible for chronic back gripping. It’s gentle but powerful.
