10-DAY TENSION RESET
STARTS SEPT 8

How This Works

The Tension Reset is a live, guided 10-day experience — but it is not a 10-day Zoom class.

There is no time you have to show up every day.

You don't have to rearrange your schedule.

You don't have hours of material to study.

And if you miss a day, you haven't failed or fallen behind.

Each day, I'll give you one small direction. Then you'll take it into the life you're already living.

The daily rhythm is simple.

Each morning, a new Daily Reset will open.

I'll send you an email letting you know it's ready.

Click the link whenever it works for you that day.

Depending on what we're exploring, you may find:

A short video from me.

A few paragraphs to read.

A simple physical experience.

One thing to notice.

Or a question to carry into your day.

Some days may have a short video.

Some may not need one.

Most days, you'll only need a few minutes to get started.

Then close the page and go live your life.

Work. Drive. Exercise. Sit at your computer. Make dinner. Take care of your family. Have conversations. Rest.

Because we're not trying to become good at doing a Tension Reset exercise.

We're learning to recognize what your body is doing while you're actually living.

Every day has its own conversation.

At the bottom of every Daily Reset page, you'll find:

Today's Conversation / What are you noticing?

This is your place to share what you're noticing, ask questions, describe something that confused you, or simply check in.

You can also read what other people are discovering.

You might write:

"I noticed my shoulders lift every time I start concentrating."

"I didn't notice anything today."

"Something happened and I'm not sure what it means."

"I caught myself doing it today."

"I have a question."

All of those are useful.

I'll be following the conversations throughout the Reset and responding to questions, observations and things that may help us explore further.

You don't have to comment.

Quiet participation is completely fine.

Three times during the Reset, we'll meet live.

We'll have three optional 20-minute Live Drops together on Zoom.

The Zoom link will be directly on that day's Reset page.

The Live Drops are optional.

You do not have to attend any of the three Live Drops to participate fully in the Reset.

If you can make one, great.

If you can make all three, great.

If you can't make any of them, you're still fully participating.

Your Daily Reset and Today's Conversation / What are you noticing? area will still be there for you.

Your 10 days at a glance.

How much time should I set aside?

For most Daily Resets: just a few minutes.

There may be days where you decide to spend longer because you're curious about something.

That's fine.

But more time isn't automatically better.

The important part often happens after you leave the Daily Reset page.

You read something from me in the morning...

and four hours later you're answering an email when suddenly:

"Wait. I'm doing it right now."

That's part of the Reset.

A few things I want you to know.

What if I miss a day?

Keep going.

Don't cram two days together because you feel behind.

Don't start over.

And don't turn this into another thing you're failing to keep up with.

Open the next Reset when you're ready and continue.

Do I have to attend the Live Drops?

No.

The Live Drops simply give you three opportunities to meet with me in real time.

If the timing works, come.

If it doesn't, use Today's Conversation / What are you noticing? to leave a question or observation.

Do I have to comment every day?

No.

You can participate quietly.

But I encourage you to occasionally put what you're noticing into words.

Even something as simple as:

"I caught myself doing it today."

Writing an observation can help make something that was previously automatic easier to recognize.

What if I don't notice anything?

Tell me that.

Seriously.

"I didn't notice anything today."

That's information.

We're not trying to manufacture an experience.

What if something makes me feel better?

Great.

Notice that too.

But we're not going to automatically turn every helpful experience into another thing you now have to do three times a day.

Part of the Reset is learning the difference between:

"That changed something."

and

"Now I have to keep doing that so I don't get tight again."

What if my tension doesn't go away in 10 days?

That isn't the promise.

We're not running a 10-day contest to see who can become the most relaxed.

You may experience changes in tension, comfort, movement or effort.

You may begin catching patterns earlier.

You may discover situations affecting your body that you never connected with tension before.

Or you may simply understand your own responses differently.

The whole Reset really comes down to this.

Open Spend a few minutes with that day's Reset.
Live Go back into your normal day.
Notice See what shows up without constantly looking for it.
Check In Use Today's Conversation / What are you noticing?
Continue The next morning, I'll give you another direction.

There's really only one thing I want from you.

Show up with curiosity.

Not perfection.

Not discipline.

Not a promise that you'll never miss a day.

Not a determination to make your body change.

Each morning I'll point you somewhere.

Then you'll take that direction into your day and see what happens.

A few minutes of guidance.

Your actual life becomes the practice ground.

Three opportunities to meet with me live.

Ten days to begin seeing things you may have been overlooking.
