Save your seat for the free live workshop
Learn why tightness can keep returning even after you relieve it—and what you might be missing when relief doesn't last.
You’ll get the workshop details and reminder emails.
But if stress were the whole explanation, why doesn't the tension always leave when the stressful moment is over?
You might catch your stomach pulling in while you're standing at the counter.
Your jaw tightening while you're concentrating.
Your shoulders doing a little more while you're writing an email.
Or your whole body working harder during an exercise that shouldn't require that much effort.
None of those moments necessarily mean you're stressed. But your body is still doing something.
That's the part most of us were never taught to pay attention to.
Because understanding why your body might be tight is one thing. Actually noticing what it's doing in real time can be very different.
And what you may be missing when relief only lasts for a little while.

I'm not going to give you another list of stretches.
And I'm not going to tell you that you simply need to get better at relaxing or reducing stress.
Instead, we'll explore something much easier to overlook:
The extra effort your body may be adding without you realizing it.
You'll have opportunities during the session to notice this in your own body — without forcing anything to change.
You may even begin to experience what happens when your body discovers that a little less effort is possible.
You don't need to be flexible.
You don't need to be good at relaxing.
You don't have to be in pain.
You don't even need to be convinced that what I'm describing applies to you.
Come curious and see what you notice.
If you've been watching my recent posts and thinking,
“Okay... if it isn't only stress, then what am I missing?”
That's exactly what we're going to explore.
