The foundation isn't learning more.
It's experiencing something different.

You don't need another long list of exercises or hours of videos to watch.

The foundation of this work happens in much smaller moments — while you're living your ordinary life.

Sitting. Standing. Working. Walking. Driving. Talking to someone. Exercising. Moving through your day.

These are the moments where your body may automatically grip, brace, hold, rush or add more effort than you realize.

And they're also where you can begin discovering another option.

The Foundation

The Stabilization Phase

Over these 21 days, we'll begin building what I call Stabilization.

Instead of only feeling different during a stretch, exercise, massage or relaxation session, you'll begin exploring small shifts inside ordinary life.

Not perfectly. Not all day.

Just small moments where your body gets an opportunity to experience something different.

We're not trying to force your body to relax.

We're creating opportunities for your body to experience:

“I can do this with a little less effort.”

And then giving it opportunities to experience that again.

“

I'm really honing my awareness skills. I started noticing the support underneath me and felt this really subtle release.

Your 21-Day Journey

Three weeks. One simple progression.

Each week builds on the one before it — from first experiencing a shift to beginning to bring that experience into more of your everyday life.

Week 1

Start Feeling the Difference

We'll begin with simple ways to notice where your body is adding effort and create small moments where it can do a little less. You'll also explore gentle downshifts and positions that can make it easier to feel what “less effort” actually feels like — rather than just trying to understand it.

Week 2

Bring It Into Everyday Life

Now we'll begin taking what you're noticing into ordinary moments — sitting, standing, working, walking, exercising and interacting with people. We'll also start uncovering some of the less obvious irritants and triggers where hidden effort may be showing up without you realizing it.

“

Now I pause when I notice the tension. Instead of immediately trying to fix it, I stay with it and see if there's an opportunity to do even 5% less.

Week 3

Make the New Option More Familiar

During the final week, we'll continue repeating these experiences while exploring movement with less unnecessary effort. The goal isn't to perfect a technique or force a new pattern — it's to give your body more opportunities to experience another way of moving, responding and using effort.

Along The Way

You'll have tools for the moments that tend to matter most.

1

Tiny Moments in Ordinary Life

Learn to recognize when unnecessary effort begins creeping in and experiment with small shifts right then — rather than waiting until later to “work on” your body.

2

Downshifts for Highly Activated Moments

Simple options for the times when your body is already highly braced, your awareness has narrowed and “just relax” isn't particularly useful.

3

Movement That Helps You Explore Less Effort

Explore positions and movements that can foster greater ease while learning something more important than simply which movement to do:

How are you moving while you're doing it?

Can the breath remain available? Can effort rise and fall? Can you move without your entire body joining in?

This is different from simply stretching farther or doing another mobility routine.

4

Hidden Irritants & Triggers

Begin uncovering less obvious places where your body may be adding effort — including certain positions, habits, situations, reactions and even some of the things you're doing specifically to try to feel better.

This isn't about doing nothing.

There will be things to practice.

There will be movements to explore.

And there will be things to notice.

But the goal isn't to give you another program that becomes a second job.

We're looking for small opportunities inside your existing day where your body can begin experiencing a little less unnecessary effort and a little more freedom.

Not forcing your body to change.
Giving it another option to experience.

One different experience doesn't necessarily change a longstanding pattern.

But when those experiences begin happening again and again, you're starting to give your body something new to work with.

That's the beginning of Stabilization.

“

Before, I would have just powered on through and struggled. Now I'm starting to trust those subtle signals sooner. There's a much higher level of curiosity rather than fear.

Frequently Asked Questions

A few things you may be wondering.

Is this another stretching, mobility or exercise program?

No. There will be movements you'll explore, but the goal isn't simply to stretch farther, become more flexible or complete a list of corrective exercises.

A big part of what we'll explore is how your body is doing what it's doing — how much effort it's using, what else is joining in, and whether another option may be available.

How much time will I need each day?

This isn't meant to become another big thing you have to fit into your day.

There will be short things to watch, explore and practice, but much of the real work happens in small moments during the life you're already living — while sitting, standing, walking, working, exercising or interacting with other people.

What if I've already tried breathing exercises or relaxation techniques?

That's okay. This isn't about becoming better at relaxing.

Breathing and downshifting may be used at certain times, but they're only part of what we're exploring. We'll also look at movement, everyday effort, hidden irritants and the moments where your body may be adding tension back without you realizing it.

What if I'm already very aware of my body and my tension?

Awareness can be helpful, but more monitoring isn't necessarily better.

Constantly checking, analyzing or trying to figure out what your body is doing can sometimes become another form of effort.

We'll explore a different kind of noticing — enough to recognize what's happening and begin discovering whether another response is available.

What if my body gets very tense or braced and I can't seem to relax it?

That's one of the reasons the downshifts are included.

There may be moments when your system is already highly activated, your awareness has narrowed and trying to consciously “let go” doesn't feel available.

We'll explore simple ways of working with those moments without demanding that your body immediately relax.

What if movement tends to make me tighten up?

That's one of the things we'll begin exploring.

Instead of assuming you simply need the “right” exercise, we'll pay attention to how you're entering and performing movement — including how much effort you're using, whether you're holding your breath, bracing unnecessarily or recruiting more of your body than the movement requires.

The goal isn't to push through. It's to begin giving your body opportunities to experience movement differently.

What if I miss a day or don't do everything perfectly?

You haven't failed.

This isn't a streak challenge, and there's no prize for doing everything perfectly.

We're interested in repeated experiences over time. If you miss something, you simply come back and continue.

Will this fix my tension or pain in 21 days?

That's not a promise I'm going to make.

Bodies, symptoms and circumstances are different. The purpose of these 21 days is to begin building a foundation — helping you recognize unnecessary effort, experience different options and start creating more of those experiences during ordinary life.

Think of this as the beginning of Stabilization, not a 21-day promise to fix your body.

Is this medical treatment or physical therapy?

No. The 21-Day Tension & Body Reset is an educational program and isn't a substitute for individualized medical care, diagnosis or physical therapy.

If you have an injury, medical condition, new or worsening symptoms, or aren't sure whether a particular movement is appropriate for you, please consult an appropriate healthcare professional.

Start your 21-day reset.

If today's workshop helped you recognize that your tension may involve more than simply needing to stretch, strengthen or relax better, this is a simple place to continue.

For the next 21 days, we'll begin putting what you discovered today into practice.
